BIRDING > 16 days Naivasha/ Nakuru / Kakamega / Arabuko Sokoke

BirdingDay 1
Pick up from the airport then transfer to a hotel for accomodation on bed and breakfast.

Day 2
Early morning pick up from your hotel and leave for Naivasha richly endowed with birds. Lunch at the Lakeside Hotel. In the evening drive to the lake which is a bird watchers paradise. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 3
After an early morning bird-watching, drive to Nakuru at the lodge/camp for lunch, Late in the evening visit the world famous bird sanctuary in Lake Nakuru National Park noted for its huge concentration of flamingos

Day 4
After breakfast bird watching then breakfast. Lunch at the lodge /camp. In the evening drive to the lake where you watch and photograph different species of birds returning to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
After breakfast depart for Kakamega checking in at the lodge /camp for lunch. Afternoon is spent at the forest watching and photographing difference species of birds. All meals and accomodation at the lodge/camp.

Day 6
Another full day is spent watching birds, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 7
After breakfast leave for Lake Baragoi famous for different species of birds including flamingos. Lunch at lodge/camp before proceeding on with bird watching at the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 8
There is an early morning bird - watching before leaving for Mt. Kenya where you enjoy early morning and late evening bird-watching around Mount Kenya Region spending the night in a lodge camp.

Day 9
Full day is spent watching and photographing birds with breaks for meals, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 10
After breakfast drive to Meru arriving in time for lunch. Later proceed to Meru National Park where you watch different species of birds. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 11
Early morning breakfast before departing for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch, then proceed to Nairobi National Park , you have a chance of watching and photographing different kinds of birds. Accomodation at a Hotel.

Day 12
Early breakfast then depart for Tsavo reaching in the early afternoon. After sometime proceed for bird watching returning to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 13
Full day bird watching and photographing different species of birds. All meals and accomodation at their lodge/camp.

Day 14
After breakfast depart for Arabuko Sokoke forest checking in at the lodge/camp for lunch. The whole afternoon is spent watching birds, accomodation at the lodge/camp.

Day 15
Pre-breakfast bird watching with breaks for meals, dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 16
After breakfast depart for Nairobi reaching by early afternoon before proceeding on to the next destination.
