Nestled among the trees overlooking a watering
hole lies Satao Camp, an oasis in the vast
shrub land of Tsavo East National Park. This
is home to Trevor and Ann Jennings, the founders
of the camp. They are veterans of bush life
and a personal touch that is Satao Camp. At
Satao, you enjoy watching a variety of game
from your veranda of your tent, which is located
directly facing the watering hole or adventure
Kenya safari game drives.
- The Satao tents form
a semicircle around the waterhole; each
tent is equipped with electricity from
the camp generator.
- The restaurant is designed
in the same unique African style, with
thatched roofs over looking the vast lush
grassland.
- The chefs make the most
of the fresh fruit and vegetables available
locally to prepare delicious meals.
- Dine in the open plan
restaurant with meals freshly cooked on
charcoal fires, and home baked bread prepared
in special safari ovens. After dinner,
join the other guests and relax around
the campfire.
