Kenya
Camping Safaris Whenever possible
we aim to camp by streams
or riverbeds, in forests,
on mountain slopes or on the
edge of national parks. The
crisp, clear, star filled
African night can only be
fully appreciated from a campsite
deep in the bush, un-interrupted
by modern sounds or the artificial
glow of nearby towns - we
camp in the essence of nature.
Camping safari caters for
budget travelers, for the
young and the adventurous.
However, age is not a criterion,
all that is needed is a spirit
of adventure.

Ballon
safari is an elegant and memorable
form of air travel as an option
in the many parks/game reserves.
Ascending into the crisp and
clear morning air, as dawn breaks
over the endless horizon and
the first pink of tongues of
sunshine flicker across the
skies, the dawn of life in the
wild unfolds below. Suspended
in a basket beneath the rainbow-coloured
canopy, birds of prey swoop
past as you sedately drift over
the great herds as they nervously
watch out for the ever present
predators on the prowl. Click

Perched
north of Lamu is this lovely
and idyllic Island very far
from the madding crowd. The
clientele is the smart set who
like the rustic look of the
Kiwayu's few bandas but also
like the unobstructive luxury
they offer as well. Enjoy the
proximity of nature in this
northern Lamu archipelago. The
"Baobabs of Kitangani"
nestling between the enormous
ageless baobabs, almost invisible
from the beach create a dream
for a couple expecting perfect
setting and total privacy. Click

All
our national parks and reserves
have their own quota of this
grand variety and with a few
exceptions, each one of them
covers a different type of habitat.
There are of course overlapping
areas which need to be taken
into account when planning a
bird safari. However, even on
a more standard wildlife safari,
taking in all or some of the
major game viewing areas, the
birds provide a superb added
attraction to those who are
interested. Click

involve yourself in the discovery
of both your stamina and the
Kenyan scenery. Designed as
a fully eco friendly activity,

use of desert horses (camels)
and to a lesser though not negligible
extent, your feet as the chief
means of transport. Click

Mount
Kenya, Africa's second highest
peak, has long been regarded
as the realm of Ngai, the god
of the local Kikuyu people.
Traditionally, all Kikuyu homes
were built to face this sacred
peak. The Kikiyu name for this
jagged peak is Kirinyaga, meaning
"place of light."
The mountain is an awe-inspiring
sight, its ragged peaks crowned
with snow and its slopes thick
with forest. The mountain is
best seen at dawn, when the
morning sun backlights its impressive
summit high above the surrounding
plains. Click
